When one mentions Italian food, the first thing that comes to mind in Chicagoland is an old standard, Calabria Imports, formerly of Blue Island, but now nestled in the beautiful Beverly area of southwest Chicago.  We have been serving the public since 1975, offering the finest quality and best tasting Italian foods at the lowest possible prices.  The owner, Pasquale (Pat) Roberto, started with the company in 1988 and has been the sole owner since 1997. 

Our specialties are many, starting with the exceptional Italian and American deli meats and cheeses that are sliced to order.  We are also home of  "The Freddy", a homemade Italian sausage patty, accompanied by sweet peppers, melted mozzarella cheese and our homemade red sauce. 

Fresh homemade soups are offered daily, together with daily lunch and dinner specials. 

Other grilled favourites include, "The Mickey", Grilled or Crispy Chicken sandwiches, homemade Italian Beef, Meatball or Sausage sandwiches, or the old stand-by, hamburgers and cheeseburgers.  We have a wide variety of excellent salads and hot sandwiches, too.

If your appetite calls for a heartier menu, we offer such Italian favourites as spaghetti, mostaccioli, lasagna, eggplant parmesan, and chicken parmesan over spaghetti.  Cheese or meat ravioli and tortellini are also available.

If you would rather have a cold sandwich, try one of our Italian submarine sandwiches that will make your mouth water.  Stacked high with four different Italian meats, Provolone cheese and our special dressing, you will know you have had one of the best!  Our sub sandwiches start at 6 inches, and go all the way up to one of our trademark six foot long party subs.  If none of the cold sandwiches on our menu are what you want, Calabria's friendly staff will make your sandwich to order with the finest of fresh ingredients.

We also have a catering menu which you can view by clicking on the "Catering Menu" tab at the top of this page.  There is no need to even leave your home, as we have delivery service available.  Some of the items you might want to choose include Deli and Relish Trays, Fruit and Cookie Trays, a variety of Lasagnas, and chicken dishes.
